# How-To:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square or comparable baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice until evenly coated.
03 - Combine granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and 2 tablespoons flour in a separate bowl; sprinkle over apples and toss to coat thoroughly.
04 - Transfer the coated apple mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
05 - In a medium bowl, mix flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold diced butter and work it into the mixture with fingers or a pastry cutter until coarse crumbs form.
06 - Evenly sprinkle the crumb mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
07 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are bubbling and tender.
